Every now and again we do a little thing… we deck out somewhere, get someone to come along to entertain us and we make some food. Lots of it!

This year 'pate-by-post' will be popping up a lot more often in some special little places… If you want to come along to one of our parties then please joint the mailing list and we'll let you know when it's happening...

We helped Lucy to deck out her garden and sent her on her travels with a full belly.

Residency at the Livingston Studios...

For 15 nights we made Skunk Anansie, producer Chris Sheldon and engineer Anthony their supper. We gave the Livingston kitchens a bit of a make over, moved in and had a really great time!




What they ate...

Baked trout fillets with roast tomato sauce; Warm Baby Greens with roast artichokes and Parmesan Shavings, Tender stem broccoli, Sour Dough Loaf
Salmon Steak with Béarnaise Sauce; New Potatoes with chives, Green Beans, Asparagus and shaved fennel, Walnut Bread
Thai Green Curry with Prawns; Ground green chili paste with coconut milk, green beans, sweet potato, mange tout and coriander, Mango Salad with bean sprouts and coriander
Marrakech street food; Tomato, chick pea, kala chana and courgette stew, bulgur wheat, Sweet Potato and raisin salad, Carrot and parsley salad
Farmhouse Tapas; Parsnip and Ginger Soup, Pea and artichoke quiche, Roasted peppers with basil and chili, French beans with toasted almonds, Spinach and pine nut salad, Rosemary bread
Pan-fried Duck Breast on celeriac mash; Caramelised Pear, Seasonal vegetables, spelt and rye loaf
Middle Eastern Mezze; Pita bread, Grilled Halumi and baby tomato salad Humus, Stuffed Vegetables, Iranian vegetable Stew, Yoghurt and cucumber salad, Cracked Wheat with Spinach Pilaf
French Farmhouse Tapas; Ratatouille, Spinach Omelet, Goats Cheese and Onion Tart with homemade chutney, Broccoli toasted with sunflower seeds, French beans with toasted almonds, Pear, cheese, chicory and walnut salad, Peppered Sausage, Roasted Garlic Bulbs, Baguettes

What they drank...

Sparkling elderflower, ginger and lemon grass or mango and orange juices
White tea, roobus tea, green tea
Loose leaf Sri Lankan earl grey or celon (thanks Ceylon One!)
Ground coffee
